This is a simple digital stethoscope.
My girlfriend is pregnant, naturally I wanted to listen to my baby's heart beats. I designed a Pinard stethoscope that fits snugly with this cheap usb microphone.
I have not managed to hear my baby's heart beats yet (it is too early in the pregnancy), but it appears to work well, because I can hear my own heart beats quite well, especially after some post processing in Audacity.
