I wanted to create a classic looking lamp shade with waves giving it a sense of textile. Designing it to be 3D-printable in one piece and without support was a challenge. The waves are sinosoidal in their outer part, but transform gradually into straight lines on the inside to make it possible to use bridges where each new skirt starts. The walls are all 0.8 mm to ensure that they can be printed with two 0.4 mm perimeters throughout. This was chosen because we want the transparency to stay constant.
The hole at the top fits IKEAs lamp mount SUNNEBY (and many others).
The shade should be printed upside-down and occupies a build volume of 222x222x185 mm. I printed it on an Ender 3, but if you scale it to 94%, it will fit on a Prusa MK3 (the included .3mf-file is already scaled).
