My biggest issue with last meter prints is how many ‘last meters’ you end up having.
I myself have hundreds of meters in filament in 10 or less meter segments, I have printed out fidget toys and zip ties and knobs and trinkets. Each one you can print out once or twice but after that the use is limited.
Start with one brick the more you print, the more last meters you get the more bricks you have to build with! More blocks can be made to expand the system.
Building blocks solve this problem, allowing you to grow your collection in different colours and shapes. Different colours add fun detail and creative exploration to your builds with these blocks!
Each building block takes ~one meter or less of filament to print depending on settings. The blocks snap every 45 degrees allowing you to round out corners and imply curves in your buildings.
