This is a remix of the "Beskar Ingot with Damascus Pattern": https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4038610
I remixed it into an external USB 3.0 SSD case.
It should hold any standard SSD, up to 7mm thick.
I used the USB controller from this $9 case: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T9D8F6C
Notes:
Looks best printed vertically in Silk (Silver or Black) PLA.
Print the exterior case with the top side down - hole up - and a brim.
Post-Printing
The two pieces are designed to snap together.
Glue at your peril. :)
There is now a customizable End Cap generator, written for openSCAD.
You can adjust the holes to fit pretty much any external USB-SSD adapter.
There is also a second SCAD file to print a spacer for the drive cavity, should you need it.
(Or, just tweak the cavity depth of the original case with your favorite 3D program.)
