I recommend printing face down, no supports are needed, your printer can bridge over the text.
Feel free to fill in the text for contrast using paint/silicone/whatever your heart desires! Leaving it as-is, you'll have a lovely shiny negative space (if using a smooth sheet) and the text will be matte.
