There are 2 options available here, you can convert yourself or another human into a unicorn, or, you can convert another animal (probably best try horses) that has a bridle and a browband that is flat, at least 130mm across and free, and, 4/8ths of an inch wide… Sorry, that's the UK official width, don't know why they haven't gone metric or even simplified the fraction, but that's just how we roll.

The horn is 210mm high, so you will need a taller printer. It prints well in PLA or PETG. You should probably switch off the "Fill Gaps" setting on your print. While the majority of this model is 2 walls thick, sometimes in corners it can want to add a bit and it will print faster and use less filament without this. There is a sacrificial hole covering at the top, it's not a bad print :) This is used in the wand, but can also be removed here as well.

Human conversion

All you really need is some elastic string (1.5 to 3mm will work well) and feed it through the holes then tie in a knot. If you want to get posh there is a bobble to feed the bits through so the knot is hidden, and if you really want to get super posh, then you can use a spring clip to adjust the tension. If you're looking for some comfort in front, then a furniture pad will make things a little easier.

Once assembled, screw on the horn and you're good to go. Wear it proud! Or find a child… that's usually a better option all around.

Animal conversion

The browband attachment is probably best printed in PETG so it's a little more flexible. You will also need some hair bands to attach things. The prettier the better I guess… you want your unicorn to feel special.

To attach the bands, loop a band over one set of the pins so it goes around the back first, then pull them over the bottom and ensure the notches catch the bands. Finally, pull the bands back onto the pins again.

Depending on how feisty your to-be unicorn is, you'll probably want to attach things to the browband before fitting the bridle and then screw the horn on once comfortable.
