Tired of boring nuts and bolts? Well, simply print and assemble this fidget toy! It uses an intersected 5 start thread to allow two nuts of opposite thread directions to move on the same screw. This is a great toy for absent minded fiddling, and for amazing friends and family with the resolution and print quality of your printer!
This model requires tight printing tolerances, so ensure that dry filament is used and that some light sanding is done where needed.
after printing is complete, simply add some carlube, or other silicone lubricant, screw on the bolts (this may take some back and forth attempts as the plastic wears into shape) then glue on the cap.
