I didn't like using set screws to hold the charger pad in place, so I added a groove for an o-ring or filament.

I liked the form of the original dock and being able to add weight to it from the bottom really makes using the dock easy (can't knock it over easily, etc).

However, I did not like using set screws to hold the magsafe pad in place. I found that they would gouge/scratch the outside of the pad. So, I decided to use a groove that can hold an o-ring or piece of TPU filament like was done on the bottom. The o-ring allows the pad to be held in securely without getting scratched.

I also modified the groove in the bottom so the o-ring stuck out above the surface a little more for better grip.

The plug from the original model is reused. I found that scaling it down to 99% made it easier to install, the threads are very snug if you don't.
