Do you have a carload of children? Are you hundreds of miles away from home and you have just one iPad for them to share? Are conditions deteriorating quickly in the back seats? Do you fear a mutiny? Yup, that's why I made this:
The Fair-Share iPad holder is designed to place your tablet in a position where all of your passengers can see the movie. Gone are the "My Turn!" shrieks and the territorial disputes!
I've uploaded the STLs for all of the printed plastic parts. In addition, you will need the following hardware:
(4) 1/4"-20 thumb screws
(2) 1/4"-20 pan-head screws 1 1/2" length
(2) 1/4" washers
(2) 1/4"-20 nylon locking nuts
(1) 1/2" Square Tube (can be hollow steel or solid aluminum)
The plastic joints are going to be holding some weight for extended periods of time, in a hot automobile. As such, I recommend printing in PETG or ABS. 70% or higher infill for rigidity.
