This design handled my varied brands of pingpong paddles.
When designing it was interesting to note the slight variations in paddles' backboard thickness, handle width/thickness, and curvature from handle to paddle. To accommodate for these variances some paddles will tilt a little more than others, as seen in picture. But it works well for me an hopefully for you also.
