Bike Box:

This is a rugged box for a Bike that can hold a few tools and a tire repair kit.

Print each file once.

(You can but you dont have to print the Klammer)

I used:

  • 0.6mm Nozzle (0.4mm is also good)
  • 0.3mm Layerheight (0.2mm is also good)
  • 3 vertical Walls
  • 30-50% Infill
  • printed in PETG with PrusaSlicer Settings
  • i put supports on the Box Part but they are hard to remove in PETG, maybe bridging is good enough but i wanted to make sure :)

Other Hardware:

  • 3x  M5x20mm Screws (2 for the Dovetailpart that screws to the Bikeframe (these screws may be already in the Bikeframe))
  • 1x  M5 Nut

Assembly:

Take two M5X20 screws and bolt the dovetail to the bikeframe.

Put the lid on the box and bolt them together with one M5x20 Screw and 1 M5 Nut.

Make sure that its not to tight, so the lid can open smoothly.

Slide the box on the dovetail, it needs a few times in order to slide good.

Extra:

If you feel like the box opens to easy, you can also print the clip(Klammer) that fits over the lid and holds securly on the box.

A cabletie works to.
