This lighthouse is a landmark of Bremerhaven/Germany. It was constructed in the year 1900 and since 1984 it is a protected monument.

How I Designed This
Since smooth curves are not the strong side of OpenScad (yet?) I used a python script to create the rotational symmetric profile of the tower from a set of line segments by a 3rd degree Bezier interpolation.
The points themselves I took off a hand-drawn sketch based on several photographs of the tower. The cutouts and ornaments were then added on.
History
The second version from 2021-05-17 is closer to the original with a slightly more conical lower section of the tower.
