I wanted to convert my sunshades to roll straight down instead of dropping out on an arm.
Instead of installing the swing arms, you can print the parts and let the sunshades glide down on ropes.
The provided .scad files allow adapting to different sized models.
The provided .stl files are for my model which has 28 mm and 24 mm pipe diameter and a m5 screw at the pipe for the shade itself. It has a hole for a 3mm nylon rope.
Parts needed to be printed:
- 2x sunshade guide for the pipe within the shade.
- 2x rope holder for thinner pipe (upper part)
- 2x rope holder for thicker pipe (bottom part)
