I had a viking ring once that I really liked. Unfortunately it broke a long time ago and I've been having trouble finding a new one that fits my rather meaty pointy-finger and / or thumb.
So I finally decided to just design one and make it the size I wanted.
The inner diameter of the ring is about 21.5 mm. You should be able to simply scale it in your slicer to make it fit your finger.
Printing instructions
- There are 2 versions.
- A single color version
- A two-color version where the “rope" detailing layers are printed in a different color. Be creative! :)
- I recommend PETG for this ring. But I've printed it in PLA too and that works equally well.
- Recommended layer height of 0.10 mm.
- Adjust first layer height to 0.10 mm instead of 0.20 mm to get a more symmetric ring.
- Print from the provided 3mf is recommended. Just scale it to your liking.
