This project includes a preconfigured Prusa Slicer configuration for 14 infill types in a 38 × 40 × 3 mm form factor that can be printed in less than 20 minutes and uses about 1m of filament per keychain (depending on the infill type printed).
The goal here was to create a small and simple keychain that showcases how an infill type looks. This could then be used to either create a library of infill types or just be used as a simple filament sample when receiving a new spool.
This is a remix of my Filament Color Swatch and Infill Swatch. As opposed to the original infill swatch, this model retains the keyring opening from the color swatch while removing the text to have the infill showcased as much as possible.
Printing
I would suggest using the included Prusa Slicer configuration file to print this project and just select the model you wish to print and your own preferred filament profile as it relies heavily on modifiers setup directly in Prusa Slicer. Here are the configured and recommended print settings:
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- Infill: 100% (infill type and density should be configured per model)
- Raft / Supports / Brim: no
- Seam position: Aligned (recommended)
- Infill print speed: 45mm/s (recommended)
