This is a flying model of the Honest John missile / rocket used in the Vietnam era. The model fly's on E and F rocket motors or just build as a static display model. The model is comprised of 3D printed parts, two Pringles tubes and a BT-50 sized motor tube. The model is a fantastic flyer despite the video of the maiden flight. The igniter cable was not anchored and it pulled the rocket to the side. She flew to around 1000ft on the F44-6 motor.

“Please Note:” This rocket uses the 67mm O.D Pringles Tubes. These may differ in your country. If you cannot obtain the pringles tubes, you can 3D print the tubes instead with the provided files. Line the top 188mm 3D printed body tube with cardboard to act as a heat shield in the parachute bay.

Model Height = 975mm

Diameter 67mm ( Pringles Tubes )

Total weight without motors installed = 420 grams

Motors  E20-4W or F44-6W
