PrusaSnake - Letters Kit (písmenková stavebnice)

Je hračkou, učební i protistresovou pomůckou ve formě skládání textu, vět, číslic a dalších znaků do souvislé řady. Spojenou řadu dílků lze tvarovat a ohýbat, případně sepnout v náramek, čelenku, pásek, atp. Vhodné i na uklidnění, proti stresu nebo pro zabavení dětí. Je vhodné pro osoby věku cca 6 - 99 let.

Použití pro:

tvorbu slov a skládání vět, výuku cizích slov,

náramek, pásek (tag, krevní skupina, telefon, jméno, atp.),

skládání barevných kombinací pásků, náramků, nákrčníků

tvorbu cenovek a různých popisků,

různé hry, např. čelenka pro hru „Hádej, kdo jsi?“, nebo třídění barev a písmen

zanechání vzkazu, označení piva nebo jiného nápoje svým jménem,

spojování a rozpojování dílků má uklidňující účinky, jako bublinková folie,

procvičování motoriky a síly v prstech,

Zabavit se můžete i tiskem barevných kombinací – jelikož na tisk dílku stačí malé množství materiálu, můžete využít i zbytky filamentu co Vám zůstaly po tisku jiných předmětů. Na jeden dílek stačí něco málo přes 1 gram filamentu!




Vhodným způsobem, jak spojit dva dílky k sobě, je: vzít do levé ruky první dílek (popiskem směrem k sobě) a do pravé ruky dílek s popiskem vzhůru. Přiložit k sobě. Otáčivým pohybem pravé ruky do sebe dílky zacvaknout. Postup je i na fotografii.

Tisk

Vhodný je tisk vrstvy o výšce 0.20 mm.

Vhodné jsou 3 stěny u trysky 0.40 mm a 2 stěny u trysky 0.60 mm

Výplň stačí navolit na 5%. Důvodem je hladší povrch pod písmenem.

Nezapomeňte před tiskem ve Sliceru nastavit změnu barvy u nejvyšších vrstev s textem.

Každý materiál (i barva) má různou pružnost. Můžete zkoušet různé materiály, (PLA, PETG) každý má trochu jiné vlastnosti, které udávají, jak lehce do sebe dílky zapadnou.




Dílky na fotografiích jsou z materiálů od různých výrobců. PETG a PLA, kde bílá a béžová PLA byla nejtvrdší, ostatní barvy byly měkčí a pružnější.

Vývoj

Tato stavebnice PrusaSnake byla vymyšlena a navržena pro soutěž Prusa, proto je použito v názvu Prusa a tím vzdávám čest Josefu Průšovi.




Celkem vzniklo 6 iterací a ještě více bylo pokusů a testování, než se mi podařilo navrhnout funkční spoj. (A přitom taková blbost… by klidně mohl někdo prohlásit). Další čas pak vzalo umístění znaků na dílek, vycentrování i úprava tisku diakritiky pro trysky 0.40 a 0.60 mm.




Verze obsahuje základní znaky ASCII, velká písmena anglické abecedy, číslice a speciální znaky. Diakritika je doplněna z abecedy pro český a slovenský jazyk.




Malá písmena a další případné znaky či symboly budou doplněny později dle odezvy. Výhodou je totiž to, že je lze dotisknout později.

PrusaSnake - Letters Kit

It is a toy, teaching and anti-stress tool in the game of composing text, sentences, numbers and other characters in a continuous line. The joining of available pieces can shape and bend, eventually clip into a bracelet, headband, belt, etc. Also suitable for calming, anti-stress or for seizing children. It is possible for people aged 6 - 99 years.

easy to practice alphabet skills, word formation and compounding, foreign language teaching,

various games, such as folding of color combinations, a headband for "Guess who you are?" or sorting letters

You can entertain yourself by printing color combinations - because a small amount of filament is enough to print a piece, you can use the remnants of filament what you have left after printing other objects. A little over 1 gram of filament is enough for one division!




A good way to join two pieces together is to take the first piece (label facing you) in the left hand and the second piece (with the label up) in the right hand. Attach to each other. Rotate the right hand to snap the tiles together. The procedure is also in the photo.

Printing

Print layer 0.20 mm.

For nozzle ø 0.40 mm use 3 perimeters (walls), for nozzle ø 0.60 mm use 2 perimeters.

Set the filler to 5%. The reason is a smoother surface under the letter.

Be sure to set the color change in Slicer for the top layers of text before printing/exporting.

Each material (and each color) has different elasticity. You can try different materials (PLA, PETG) each has different properties that indicate how easily the tiles fit together.




The pieces in the photos are made of materials from various manufacturers. PETG and PLA, where the white and beige PLA were the hardest, the other colors were softer and more flexible.

Development

This PrusaSnake kit was designed for the Prusa competition, so it is used in the name of Prusa and I tribute to Prusa.




A total of 6 iterations were created and there were even more trials and tests than I could design a functional link. Anoher time took the placement of characters, centering and adjusting the printing of diacritics for 0.40 and 0.60 mm nozzles.




This version contains the basic ASCII characters of uppercase letters and numbers of the English alphabet. The diacritic is completed from the alphabet for Czech and Slovak language.




Lowercase letters and other possible characters or symbols will be added later in the next version according to the feedback. The advantage is that new pieces can be printed afterwards.
