This chess set was drawn, designed and printed by a 13 year old who enjoys racing engines, performance cars and using the schools PRUSA 3d printers. Each piece is a performance component for a race car. It includes the V8 engine, a supercharger, a turbo, a carburetor, racing slicks and performance brakes. Check out the modular board that was designed by him to use a Prusament spool as part of the base. This distinct new chess set will bring a rush of speed and adrenaline to the classic game and hopefully cut down on some screen time.
Print instructions
You need to print one set of the car parts chess pieces in 2 different colors. The board was designed in 4 sections that connect together so it could be printed on a MK2S printer. You will also need the two edge board connectors and the center connector which is designed to fit down the center of a Prusament spool to support the board.
