I designed this little fence to keep my massively tall toddler from grabbing things off the countertop. The base attaches to the counter edge with command strips or other double-sided adhesive. The fence snaps in and can be quickly removed by an adult, but likely not be a little one. There are various sizes depending on your needs. The fence is louvered so adults can see what's on the counter but a toddler can't.
For each section of fence, print one 1 Base plus one Barrier in the size you need.
I had success with PLA with these configurations:
- 0.4mm nozzle, 0.3mm layer height
- 0.6mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer height
I experienced warping at the top corners when printing on a 60C print bed in my chilly basement with no enclosure. I suspect an enclosure and/or tweaking the cooling settings may help.
