This little drawer is my solution to the Ultracompact Wallet issue. It will hold a bunch of coins (or any other small object).
Features
- retaining feature that keeps the drawer from falling out in public
- protruding handle to easily open with one hand
- satisfying click when closing and opening thanks to the interference lock design
- no further parts required - just print and assemble
Assembly
Print both parts and slide them into each other. The first 3-10 open-/closing cycles are a bit rough as the plastic needs to “wear out” a bit for the interference lock to work properly. I recommend putting coins into the drawer from the start and shaking the wallet aggressively to open it (and/or using a screwdriver for leverage). I recommend using PETG here as that is what I used and the wear/hardness properties of other materials might impede the function of this piece.
