This is the split version of the vat for the Prometheus MSLA 3D printer for those who don't have access to a larger size (350mm) 3D printer. This model was created for those who have a  more standard size (210mm x 210mm) 3D printer.

You will need 4 extras nuts and screw ( M5x8 )

Setp 1: File down the faces to remove elephant foot, rounded corner, etc. Make sure the two parts fit nicely together. ( See picture )

Step 2: Put gasket silicon in the groove to make the seal between the two parts than put two parts epoxy in the metal to add strength and rigidity to the joint. ( See picture )

Step 3: Tighten the screw to permanently join the two half together and make sure to properly align everything. You can print the guide to help you align everything. There is some tolerance in the hole so you can wiggle the parts a bit. ( See picture )

This is for the Prometheus MSLA project. You can find more info on this fully open source project and printer on GitHub https://github.com/TheContrappostoShop/Prometheus-MSLA
