I’ve been wanting a grip for my Apple Pencil 2, but didn’t want to have to take it off for charging magnetically.

Warning update: this will make your apple pencil tip-heavy, making it more likely to land on the tip if you drop it. I learned this the hard way. I'm working on a second version that covers the pencil tip-to-tip, with a removable cap for protection.
I designed this so that I could have a grip on my Apple Pencil 2 without having to remove it every time I wanted to attach it to my iPad for charging/carrying.
Print it vertically (the chubby end has a flat face to go on the build plate) with a brim. I printed it in matte PLA.
As-designed, it came off my printer just a tiny bit too snug to go onto the Apple Pencil. A minute in near-boiling water, however, let it slide easily onto the Pencil, and it seems to hold pretty securely.
I’ve included a .step file if you’d rather just adjust it and print it with a larger opening.
