Belt retainer designed to secure excess webbing on a backpack. This replaces the worn out elastic band that came with the backpack. Fits waist belts 1 1/2" wide, or 38.1mm.

Once installed, there's a little bit of vertical wiggle room on the retainer, this was by design to allow the retainer to twist a little when used. When putting on the backpack I'd rather not have to worry that the belt retainer is stuck, this helps alleviate that.

The clip will also hold more webbing, in case you need to double it back on itself.

Most of the edges are beveled, but it'll still need a bit of sanding when it's done. I'd recommend 220 grit sandpaper for this. Also, when you remove it from the bed, the clip will be attached to the body, this can easily be broken by pulling, then sanded down for a smooth finish.
