I wanted to mount my Rode VideoMic on my SKÅDIS Pegboard so I created this Cold Shoe mount.
Required Hardware:
- 1x 5mm Nut
- 1x 5mm x 50mm Hex head bolt. (socket bolt will work in a pinch but you woun't be able to use it with the knob)
If you want the knobs on the other side, simply mirror the left and right part in Prusa-slicer.
I've included the .step file, and the FreeCAD file for this design for anyone who is interested in remixing this.
Recommended Print settings:
- Material Any (I printed mine in ABS)
- 4 Walls
- 5 Top/Bottom
- 25% infill
- Layer height .2
- Nozzle 0.4
- Supports only needed on the very first part of the curve on the middle part (set PrusaSlicer to “Support only from plate”. All other parts don't need supports.
