🇨🇲 Welcome to Cameroon! / Bienvenue au Cameroun!

This model was designed by Artemio García.

Cameroon's Reunification Monument was constructed in the 1970s to memorialize the post-colonial merging of British and French Cameroon. Located in Yaounde, its architects are Gedeon Mpondo and Engelbert Mveng (from Wikipedia).

Printing Tips

Suggested parameters:

For better details, print slow, such as 15 or 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 12%

Supports are required, the slope of the spiral staircase is an angle lower than what can be 3D printed without issue.

The model in the pictures was scaled down, and used 0.3mm layers with supports for angles more than 80%.
