Models of 2-blade and 3-blade variants of a Hamilton Standard aircraft propeller. There were many slightly different shapes and sizes, so treat this model rather as a “close enough” generic propeller, usable for most aircraft of the “Golden Age” 1920-1930s period.
I made it primarily for the 3DLabPrint models of Waco YMF-5 and Stearman Kaydet. Obviously, it is intended only for a non-flyable display piece.
I also provide the “engine top” part - you need it to cover the wide tunnel in the center of the 3DLabPrint engine part (which would otherwise accommodate a real RC engine), so you can install the propeller.
The propeller blades are a bit tricky to slice, some glitches might occur because the tips and trailing edges are so thin. I got by far the best results by far using the Classic (not Arachne) perimeter generator and not using the "Detect thin walls" setting in PrusaSlicer. Print them vertically with a brim.
The blade tips might need a few swipes with a sanding stick to make them neatly rounded.
