A model Boeing 787. I made some adjustments to files I found on this website to make it easier to print, among other things. Mostly designed for parts to snap into place easily.

Also comes with a slot that will hold a business card.

I will quickly respond to any questions about this!

Rafts:

Resolution:

0.1 mm

Infill:

10%

Filament:

Generic PLA

Notes:

This is mostly designed to be printed without supports. The only pieces that require supports are the stand arm and engines. Everything else can be printed freely. Must be printed in 0.1mm layer height or it will look very ugly (wings will be a disaster). Be sure to print this with a brim!

WHAT IS THE DELTA WING?

The delta tail wing is designed for a multicolor print that creates the logo of Delta Airlines. In order for this part to print correctly for multi-extruder color print, it the files must be merged together in a slicer like Ultimaker Cura.

If you don't wish to try the multicolor print of an airline logo, you can ignore these pieces and use the regular center tail wing instead.

Post-Printing

It should be pretty intuitive to put together. Most of it is designed so that the pieces snap into place. The only parts that will absolutely need gluing are the engine tips (to the back of the engine over the small hole), and the stand arm to the stand base (glue the stand arm to the little outlined square on the stand base).

If things don't quite fit, you can go with aggressive sandpapering. If some pieces are a little loose, jam in a small layer of masking tape as a DIY simple fix (or you could glue them).

Depending on how good your printer is, I would be ready with sandpaper to smoothen out anything that prints roughly.

There is also a little slit at the stand base so that it could hold a business card, because I figured "why not?"

Additionally, I would recommend getting a very fine black marker and coloring in the windows.
