The existing reinforcements aren't bad but ensure only that the Legs can't turn, with no support for actual stability or reduced shaking.

My created reinforcements increase the overall stability and reduce shaking/wobbling, especially for heavy printers. My accelerations improved a lot. And they look good. =)

You need to print 4 sets for one table - with my recommended print settings it needs ca. 500g of filament. I recommend ABS, ASA or PETG.

To print for one table:

  • 4x LackReinforce_Left
  • 4x LackReinforce_right

Print settings:

  • 4 Perimeters
  • 5 Top/Bottom Layers
  • 40% Cubic Infill

Tools:

  • 8x 7 Woodscrews, 4 or 5mm, 10-15mm long (56 Screws in total)
  • 1x Screwdriver

Assembly:

  • Put the table upside down
  • Take a printed part and place it onto the table bottom surface. The three-hole side belongs to the table plate, and the four-hole side to the leg.
  • I recommend starting with one screw into the bottom surface and ensuring the alignment with the leg

Please post a make and leave a rating if you print it. :)
