Keep yourself a little warmer during the cost of living crisis and pop this simple draft excluder over your letter box. The flaps close with magnets to keep it tightly shut but it'll still yield when the postie gives it a gentle nudge.
I recommend adding a strip of foam along the bottom of the inside (see photos) to dampen the noise when it snaps shut. Use 3M double sided tape to stick to your door.
The included model fits my door and the magnets I had lying around but I recommend inputting your letter box's measurements into the scad file to generate a model to fit your door.
