Post-Printing

Needed parts

For bridge print all parts once except for gear and thumbscrew -you wil need two of them.

Needed hardware - bridge

  • 2x M3x25 HEXagonal Head partially threaded
  • 4x M4x10mm countersunk head bolts - for attaching uprights for the bridge to the base.
  • 9x M3x10mm bolts (2x for tollbar uprights, 1x for tollbar, 4x for spacers and 2 for stop sign)
  • 3x M3 self locking nut (put two of them inside the thumb screws) one in the toll bar assembly
  • 6x M2.5x10 wood screws round head (to atachment of track if you print your track then use another 6 M3x10 bolts)
  • One 216mm straight track (You will need to cut it down to 180mm (or you can print the track from the file)

Assembly

Put self tightening nut into the thumb screw (It is tight fit so you may need to hammer it down a little, then insert M3x25 hex head bolt into the gear, as depicted. Tighten the thumb screw lightly from the other side of the upright and then put bridge structure on the peg from the inside. Then you can tighten the thumbscrew.

Put insert into the stop sign (I have glued mine with cyanoacrylate glue)

Connect both sides with spacers and the stop sign. Attach uprights to the base and connect the track from both sides.

Nut should be inserted all way down in this possition.

Nut should be inserted all way down in this possition in a thumb screw (I have indpendently invented screw pulling technique before reading about it in the MK3s+ manual - Hi Joe :-)). You can than manage tightness of fit, byturning the thumbscrews against each other in the end positions..

If properrly assembled it should work like this.
