Description:
Technically not a remix because all parts are completely designed by me, but very heavily inspired by the original design.
I printed the original design at 50% scale, but was having issues with the pull chord teeth and hollow parts. I decided to completely redesign the top to be more robust and print easier at a smaller scale, so now the teeth will print properly.
I also added a notch onto the pull chord so it can only be inserted in one direction.

Each top is modular and composed of three pieces that screw together: the geared portion (the same for all tops), the body, and the tip.
Included in the files are a basic top that has 3mm holes in it so you can add M3 screws to increase mass (shown in photo).
I also included a spherical top that says “Merry Christmas” because I am going to gift this to my nieces and nephews in their stocking!
Making custom tops:
To make a custom top that you can create a design that has an M16x2, right hand threading in it. This will allow the tip I designed to screw into it so it can still interface with the spinner.
