I have my PS5 standing up, but turned to the side so it fits on the TV cabinet. I got tired of looking at Ethernet, USB, HDMI and power cord sticking out of the rear like a sore thumb, so I modeled this cover. It slides onto the side panel, doesn't obstruct cooling vents, and is a pretty good fit.
Props to the guys who modeled PS5s on grabcad.com and still got the dimensions wrong lol. Had to run some loops as a result, but at least I know now that the outer covers of the PS5 are 3mm thick and not 2mm (measured myself).
I recommend printing with 2 shells, 0.2 mm layer height, 0 or 5% infill. Print orientations see screenshot. I used the painting tool to hide the weld line on the inside where it's invisible. PLA doesn't stick very well to my smooth sheet, but this part printed without difficulty. Add a brim if you are uncertain.
The shown sample part was printed in Prusa Galaxy Black PLA but at 0.3 mm layer height, which is why the outside shows these two weird lines where the shell gets thicker and then thinner again. Did not show up in a 0.2 layer height sample print.
