Replacement upper cover for the DJI Avata's GPS module.
Requirements:
- 0.25mm nozzle required
- Very small features that interface with clips that will not print with standard nozzle.
- Soldering iron or similar
- Clear piece for LED uses plastic rivets which need to be melted after printing
- Razor blade
- Needed for slightly enlarging LED hole
- Probably best in PETG or ASA
Printing Instructions:
- Place skinny back piece on build plate
- Enable brim
- Enable supports everywhere
Post Processing
- Remove supports everywhere (including between the ribs)
- Using a knife, enlarge LED hole slightly until clear piece fits on pegs and in the hole. Using soldering iron, melt the pegs until they hold the led piece in place
Assembly
- Start by pushing the piece into one of the sides of the GPS module then push the other side down until you hear it snap into place. You should hear four snaps.
