EDIT: printables doesnt let me add the G-code because of an unsupported line of code that Prusa slicer does not recognize. Therefore here is a google drive link:

Optical Illusion - Tessellating Tiles

Consists of one part printed with multiple different colors.

To be able to do that with one extruder I made the different color layers higher from darker (lower layer) to lighter (upper layer).

Printed with Ender 3 V2 and Cura slicer. I will include the g-code for the multicolor print into the post.

The machine should stop after layer 5 (change filament color) and after layer 7 (change filament color).

  • The g-code is so modified that the machine wont start until you press the “Tune” button.
  • The machine will pull the last used filament back for easier removal/filament change
  • After inserting new filament and pressing tune, the machine will heat up again and extrude filament to clean the nozzle and continue printing

The g-code is for 6 parts at once.
