Modeled on a VST basket and refined through about 7 prototypes, this is the dosing ring that I actually use every day.
- Magnetic so it clings to the basket. Magnets actually just touch the basket for a good hold.
- Accurately modeled on a VST basket, fits snuggle and wont wiggle loose
- Thin profile doesn't get in the way of distributing with a WDT tool. Spread grounds all the way to the edge of the basket.
- Gently curved outer profile is easy to hold when you are half asleep.
- Overall stylish profile doesn't scream “3D printed”
- Prints with no supports
- Uses readily available cylindrical magnet
Print in PETG and use 0.2mm layer height.
