I have an Atera Strada DL3 bike rack which holds the bike in place with plastic ratcheting straps. The bike comes with rubber frame protectors which prevent the frame touching the hard plastic straps – but one was lost.
No problem! I will make one.
Printed to mimic the function of the original (if not precisely the same design), this 50mm long item is to be printed in TPU95 (or similar) and then placed over the plastic strap. The rounded side faces the bike frame and flexes to provide some cushioning and protection.
Print in TPU.
