It just did not feel right drilling a hole in an expensively tiled wall.  This structure holds the clock at the required height, and fits in with the minimalistic design of the clock. The cadquery script allows new stands to be calculated from prescribed dimensions.

The clock hangs by the usual screw mount at the top, but also seats into the column at the bottom (required careful shape measurements).  The structure is nominally stable but can be blown over by a strong wind — I used Prestik to hold it firm to the wall, but double-sided tape should also work well.

The height in this design required cutting the column into three parts, glued together subsequently with two small internal connecting blocks.
