UPDATE: 28/01/2023 - I've added a copper coil model and a plate model. No cutout/top/bottom versions of the coil, I expect it will be too fiddley to print.
Using TheSameNameTwice's belt design, I sketched up some Circuits and Gears to travel along them. They are the correct scale, but they don't overlap like in the actual game.
There are three versions of each item:
- one with a flat base
- one with cutouts to align with the top of the straight belt
- one with cutouts to align with the bottom of the straight belt
’Top’ and ‘Bottom’ of the belts are relative to a straight belt traveling from left to right.
The flat base versions are easiest to print, but the other versions give you a little help if you are trying to align parts for gluing.
The circuits can be printed in two colours by doing a layer change at 1mm, and I managed to print them with a 0.6 nozzle too.
The gear (only the cutout versions) has an included support. there is always one unsupported tooth regardless of how I rotated it in relation the belt. If you scale this model, you will want to delete the support structures and add your own - otherwise the interface air gap will scale too.
