It is a simple wall hanging made out of the recycled spool and some 3D printed miniature pots.

For decoration, I used origami plants for pots as my wife is an Origami artist, but you can use plastic plants.
Comment me if you would like to get the detailed tutorial on making Origami plants.
We are designing and testing the 3d-printed flowers, as it's a little tricky as it should print without supports and also printable with a 0.4 mm nozzle.

You can also use a cardboard box (Work in progress) See photos.

Print instructions

No special settings required.
No supports required.
I used 0.2mm layer height for all pots and butterflies.

All that is required

  1. Filament spool
  2. 3D printed miniature pots
  3. 3D printed butterflies (Optional)
  4. Origami Flowers/plants (you can as well use artificial plants for decoring)

Process

  1. Arrange and glue the miniature pots on the spool, making sure you have enough room to add the plants.
  2. Add plants of your choice into the pots.
  3. Stick a few butterflies randomly for decoration (Instructions for making butterflies are added in images)
