Hello! this is a device holder to hold your phone and is used to make a relatively simple diy overhead camera rig! you can use various methods to secure your phone in place; velcro straps, ¼ adapters, or ¼ bolt and hex nut.
Some things to note:
- you will need 5/8 in diameter dowels as that is what i had in mind when designing this.
- if you plan to use the bolt and hex nut method, you will need to adjust the hole size of the hex nut as it came out a bit too small when I did my first print.
- you will need to use supports for this print, unless you print it vertically but the disadvantage is longer print time.
Print Setting I used:
Nozzle Size: 0.8 mm
Nozzle temp: 200 c
Bed temp: 70 c
Print Speed: 90 mm/sec
Infill: For this i did a different percentage and I can't remember what it was, sorry!
but looking at cura preview, it seems that 2% infill at 75 degree overhang angle may work.
If i find what percentage I used originally, I will update you guys here.
as always if you have questions, let me know either through here or on my different social pages!
