I needed a new lens dust cap for my 2000s Celestron 8. I added a ring dew heater and the cap no longer fit. This was not surprising due to the ring being designed for a different version of the C8.
I added a small inlay in the cap for fun. The provided gcode is for PETG, and has a color swap pause. It will print the inlay first, and then the rest of the cap. The two halves can be super glued together, or there are M3 screw holes to secure it together. I recommend gluing the center piece in.
Make sure to split the model otherwise may import as one solid object.
