This holder for the Arduino UNO (and similarly-sized boards) is an extension to the Gridfinity system by Zack Freedman. It is 2×2 grid units big, has a height of 3 units and, by that, fully encloses the dev board. The USB port and barrel jack connector for power supply are still accessible while the Arduino UNO is mounted to the holder. That can be useful if you combine the Arduino UNO holder for example with a breadboard holder on a transport tray to make your electronics project rearrangeable and mobile. The holder is stackable, so you can store the Arduino collection in your dev board drawer without wasting space. The holder uses half-sized profiles at the bottom to match it with the smaller boxes you may find in electronics projects, but it does currently not come with holes for magnets or screws. For full profiles and magnets, check Patrick Ruiz' remix.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm (0.4mm Nozzle) / 0.3mm (0.6 mm Nozzle)
  • Infill:
    • up to 4.7mm: 10% 3D Honey Comb or Gyroid
    • above 4.7mm: 20% Lightning
    • you may need to place a modifier block in the middle so that the base of the pins holding the Arduino UNO are printed fully solid, otherwise they may break (cf. the 3mf example project file)
  • Top/Bottom Solid Layers: 3 (0.4mm Nozzle) / 2 (0.6mm Nozzle)
