Pocket Valet Mini-Gridfinity

This is gridfinity heresy.  I found that for a pocket valet the grid size of “standard gridfinity” was just a wee bit too large.  This matrix is based on 35mm (which is still a multiple of 7) instead of 42mm, all remaining gridfinity parameters are consistent. Another blasphemous thing is that the boxes lock into place.  You can pull them out to reconfigure as you wish, it just takes a little bit more effort.

Building upon the gridfinity model, you can configure the pocket valet any way that you prefer. Gridfinity is more than just different sized boxes.  Each “profile” (grid widget) can be a very unique item.  As a simple example, the phone stand actually puts your phone in a mount where it can be easily viewed and accessed. The key and change holders are scooped so you can easily retrieve your keys/change. There are even watch stands for the Fitbit Charge 5 and Galaxy 5.

For those who want to create pocket-valet grid-widgets, simply adjust your gridfinity templates to be 35mm. Leave all other parameters the same.

Do not use supports.

Use reasonable colors. The wild colors that I used are just to highlight the various layouts.
