Everyone sooner or later needs to sand their models. This is my version of a handy little sanding block.

You can specify the used hardware. My defaults assume a standard M8 bolt and nut. But you can specify the values for M6, or whatever you have at hand (screw_X). The design adds 5% clearance to the screw dimensions.

The two radius that define the block are as variable (small_diam and large_diam) as the overall length and width of the sanding block (block_X).

Since you can specify everything, you can break the design. Therefore, take care that you don't go too crazy. Small or large.

Included Files

The STL and 3MF files will produce a 60mm long, 45mm wide, 16mm height sanding block that uses a M8 bolt of 25-30mm length.

Edit: Added 25mm wide, 80mm long blocks.

Hint for Printing

Printing layer height does not matter that much since it is a tool not an art object. Low quality, 0.28mm works for me, see photo. However, I would suggest to use supports for the block and knob. Infill of 10% seems to be stable enough, too.
