Revision of the Original Prusa MINI X End splitting the part in two: a fixed part to lock the X axis and a moving part for the idler, allowing an easier tensioning of the belt, which can even be done on the fly!
This part is based on the original part (rev2): the MINI will still look like a true MINI!
Two more square nuts are required (found in the spare bag). They should be press-fit inside the idler part.
Printed in PETG at 0.2mm layer height. For the assembly, refer to the original documentation. The differences are quite obvious.
Important: depending on the printer, the tolerances for the locking part might be a little too tight. The two rods should enter quite easily in the holes, and the X carriage should then move freely. If it is not the case, post-process these holes to enlarge them a little. And do not over-tighten the locking screws: check that the X carriage still moves freely.
