A development case for the RPi Pico for quick testing with loose wires.
Files:
- PicoCase-*: Single material individual STLs.
- PicoCase_MM: Multi-part STL for multi color print.
- For PrusaSlicer: After the STL is opened→right click→split→To parts.
- Do not print the top and bottom together at the same print.
Features:
- Screw terminals for easy attachments and swapping.
- Compatible with 4mm screwdriver bits.
- Top cover LED indication.
- Decal included for easy pin identification.
Notes:
- Supports required:
- For the top cover I used paint on supports for the bridge and avoided the endpoints as to ease the removal.
- For the bottom cover just use build plate supports.
- I printed in ABS and followed this guide to print two materials with Prusa Mini, but also a single material version is included.
- Additionally, I used Ironing on top surfaces for better contact between the covers, and fuzzy skin with both thickness and point distance at 0.05.
- Note: on the prototyping board there is one row of holes left free between the screw terminals and the Pico headers.
Additional Hardware:
- M3x4x5 threaded inserts.
- M3x8 hex socket head bolts.
- KF128 screw terminal blocks 2.54mm (use blocks of 10 pins if you want to maintain access to all pins).
- 4mm LED pipe (Cut to length of 7.5mm).
- Through-hole prototyping board: 52x40mm (see picture for assembly). I cut and sanded (symmetrically) mine to size.
- 2x20pin Pin Header 2.54mm (for the Pico)
- 2x20pin Female Pin Header (for the board)
