An easy to print spool holder to mount your filament spool on the wall above the printer and feed the filament right into your printer
The roller uses standard 608 bearings, so your spool turns really well.
Works well with all tested 1kg filament spools.
The whole thing comes in three parts:
- The roller - simply add two 608 bearings to each side. They should go on easly but hold well with a friction fit. Print lying on the bed and use supports
- The base - it has two screw holes to mount it to the wall. The roller is easily inserted from the top. Print without supports.
- The base support triagle - This is glued into the bottom of the base to further add stability. I designed it together with the base and cut the two apart to be able to print it on a 200x200 bed. After printing I noticed that the base is stable enough without the bottom support triagle. So leave it away if you feel like it. Print without supports.
