I was revisiting this design for this year's holiday and discovered a small mistake I made when creating the solid top cover with small heart inserts. I moved my timeline in Fusion 360 before the step when the small hearts were cut out from the top. This resulted in the small hearts not having a “pocket” to sit in for a multi-color print. I have replaced the offending file and re-uploaded a correct Fusion 360 source file.
This simple heart-shaped box is great for holding small candies like the conversation candies that have been around for a long time. I have included 3 different covers. The “solid” cover has small hearts inset into the top and each heart is a separate body to make assigning colors for multi-color prints easier. The “cut” cover has the small hearts cut through the cover and the “engraved” cover has the hearts, well, engraved into the top.
The tops pieces should be rotated face down for printing. Be sure to keep the solid top as one combined part so the small heart bodies don't get separated from the top.
