Some kind of animal keeps eating away at the wood in my backyard, so this was designed to hold an Ultrasonic Repeller. It fits around a 3.5x3.5 inch post. It can easily be removed, and fits securely.
This is the Repeller I used:
Print Settings:
Material: TPU
Temperature: 230C nozzle, 60C bed
Speed: 35mm/s print speed, 120mm/s travel
Infill: 20%
Layer Height: .24mm
3 Walls, 3 Top/Bottom layers
All of the pieces are designed to be printed together, in the same orientation, with the same settings.
Assembly: Glue the cylinder piece onto the “C” shaped piece (I used Gorilla Glue). Let it set for 24 hours. Wrap the “C” shaped piece around the post, and secure it in place using the rectangle piece. Lastly, slip the Ultrasonic Repeller into the cylinder, and aim it towards the area where the animal usually comes.
