If you have a small mealworm farm for your chickens, or other pets, this is an easy effect way to separate pupa from mealworms. Because pupa are a little wider, the mealworms shift through the separator leaving the pupa easy to collect.
There are 2 different sizes – 3.5 mm and 3.75 mm. I have found the 3.75 mm still had a few pupa fall through while the 3.5 mm is most effective at separating the two.
